Genuine Bubble Memory System Board

If you blinked you missed out on using this type of static random access memory (RAM).  A rare case where one engineer working at Bell Laboritores was largely responsible for the entire development and application.  Millions of dollars was invested in Magnetic Bubble Memory technology but within a few years it was eclipsed by semiconductor RAM chips with a battery backup.

 No specs on these cards, but they would make a perfect museum piece or lecture prop on the speed at which electronics technology progresses.
